Post-acute care – better known as short-term rehab—is care that is received after a hospitalization, with the goal of regaining strength and transitioning back home as healthy as you were before – or better.

Our highly skilled interdisciplinary team of professionals is dedicated to your successful recovery and uses state-of-the-art, innovative approaches to help you achieve the best outcome.

You may benefit from short-term rehabilitation after being hospitalized for:

Joint-replacement surgery
Heart surgery
Complex medical conditions, such as diabetes or renal failure
Illnesses, such as cardiac disease, gastrointestinal illnesses, renal disease, or pneumonia

Outpatient Short-Term Rehab

Outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapy are now available to the community in a new location on Christian Health’s Wyckoff campus. Our highly skilled interdisciplinary team of professionals is dedicated to your successful recovery and uses state-of-the-art, innovative approaches to help you achieve the best outcome.

Our outpatient rehabilitation location is following enhanced safety measures as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, including:

Clients and therapists wear masks throughout sessions.
Therapists are screened for symptoms daily and clients are screened for symptoms prior to each session.
Clients meet with their assigned therapist one-on-one.
A maximum of 10 people are allowed in the therapy space at any time as per current guidelines which are being closely monitored.
Equipment is thoroughly sterilized after each use.
