Christian Health Psychiatrist Honored as Health Care Professional of the Year by The Arc/Morris Chapter

Aijaz Nanjiani, MD, a staff psychiatrist at LiveWell Counseling at Christian Health (CHCC) in Wyckoff, has been selected as the Health Care Professional of the Year by The Arc/Morris Chapter for providing exemplary health care to residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Arc’s group homes. Dr. Nanjiani has been a member of the CHCC Medical Staff since 2007, serving as its President since January 2012. He will receive the honor at The Arc/Morris Annual Meeting and Awards Presentation at the end of May.
“Dr. Nanjiani represents all that is good about the practice of medicine and psychiatry, offering expert help and support to those who need it the most,” said Howard Gilman, MD, CHCC’s Medical Executive. “Congratulations and thanks to Dr. Nanjiani.”
Incorporated in 1953 as the Morris County Unit of the New Jersey Parents Group for Retarded Children, The Arc/Morris Chapter is the largest provider of services for people affected by intellectual and related developmental disabilities and families in
Morris County. The non-profit organization envisions a world in which people with intellectual disabilities and their families are valued and have the opportunity to achieve their highest level of self-sufficiency, independence, and inclusion possible.
