COVID-19

We continue implementing all New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations about infection prevention and control. We are committed to keeping everyone on our campuses and the community safe and healthy!

Masking

With exceptions, masking is optional for residents, patients, clients, team members, visitors, and volunteers. Masking may still be required when requested by a resident or patient. Masking may also be required of team members and visitors providing care for or visiting specific individuals. Anyone may wear a face covering on our campuses; we strongly encourage it!

COVID-19 Reporting

As of
Tuesday, September 10, 2024
our current results for residents and patients in our care settings with a facility-onset COVID-19 diagnosis are below. All residents and patients in long-term care settings are safely cared for in compliance with CDC and NJDOH guidelines.

Heritage Manor/Bolger Short-Term Rehab: Zero
Longview/Courtyard at Longview: Zero
Southgate Special Care: Zero

Across our long-term/post-acute care and assisted living communities, there are currently zero COVID-19-positive team members. As per current guidelines, team members who test positive for COVID-19 are not physically permitted on campus until they can safely return.

We continue to support our acute-care partners to meet the community's healthcare needs. We accept admissions from local hospitals, and some of these individuals may be COVID-19 positive. These individuals are not identified in the counts of facility-onset COVID-19 above. These patients come to us for care to complete their recovery following hospitalization. They are tested before admission and upon arrival and move into an established unit used to safely cohort new admissions.
