History & Mission

The Foundation’s mission is to support the ministry of Christian Health through financial gifts, volunteer efforts, and prayer in ways that are consistent with the principles on which Christian Health was founded. Though changing times and the complexities of health care and senior services may change, the Foundation exists to uphold Christian Health’s commitment to providing services to those in need of long-term care, mental-health care, and residential living in a compassionate and loving environment.

The Foundation provides Christian Health with a source of funds that can be used to carry out its strategic vision and to help meet the changing needs of those it serves. The Foundation board is composed of business and community leaders who help develop programs and events to introduce Christian Health to potential benefactors. Through their advocacy and leadership, the Foundation will help financially support and expand the ministry of Christian Health and broaden the community’s knowledge and awareness of its services.
