Longview Premier Assisted Living helps seniors who want to maintain as much independence as possible while getting the help they need with activities of daily living. For example, residents in assisted living may need help remembering to take their medication or practicing good personal hygiene, including bathing and dressing.
Longview allows seniors to thrive with personalized care in a secure community that supports and fosters independence. Residents have access to personalized assistance with our professional clinical staff, while also enjoying innovative programs and a wide range of recreational activities and events which promote quality of life.
Courtyard at Longview
Loss of memory shouldn’t mean loss of dignity, activity, or independence.
Located within the same building as Longview, but with it’s own
space and sense of community, Courtyard is a specialized residence designed
to meet the needs of those with early stages of dementia and memory loss.
Geared toward fostering ability and independence, the Courtyard design
considers safety, comfort, dietary needs, and mobility. Special programs
and facilities help reduce dementia-related anxiety and enhance memory.
For Longview residents, independence and choice are second nature, thanks to the many personal services and amenities available to help each person live to their highest potential. These include:
Art therapy is not only a wonderful tool for personal expression, but also has been shown to impart therapeutic benefits. Our Art Appreciation Program can be enjoyed by everyone in the community and makes art accessible to anyone, regardless of previous experience.
Longview and Courtyard residents take great pride in their art and enjoy having their work displayed during our annual art exhibit. In addition, images of residents’ artwork are available for sale with proceeds supporting our art program. Choices include a calendar, note cards, mugs, calendars, mousepads, and more.
Donations of art supplies for Longview’s Art Appreciation Program are always appreciated. Needs include canvases, paint, paper, foam boards, acrylic and watercolor paints, colored pencils, and brushes. Donations may be dropped off at Longview.
